So I've had an Xperia S for a bit over two years now, and I haven't had any major problems until now. A couple of weeks ago the phone restarted itself, and a couple of things were different (like where to go to put phone on silent, and the unlock screen was different) but nothing stood out. Until I realized, my phone doesn't ring. If someone tries to call - it goes straight to voicemail. The call shows up in my phone log, but it doesn't specifically tell me that there was a missed call. I can still make outgoing calls though. I've looked through settings, and couldn't find any reason why any incoming calls go straight to voicemail.

Anyone else having this problem? Or have a solution (apart from a new phone, haha)?

Thanks

It could be the SIM card acting up or an app acting up.

repair your phone with PCC

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

Alternatives on How to backup Xperias

http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/36355

if that doesn't work then get a brand new MICRO SIM card

If the sim is the issue - how am I able to still make phone calls, and send and receive text messages? It is only incoming calls that are a problem.

also for some reason PCC doesn't like to work on my laptop (tried fixing that issue a while ago and just had to give up, haha)

Yeah - I've done that multiple times. As it is the solution on every support forum regarding PCC. It's really odd - just my phone won't connect to my laptop at all - but other computers will recognize it.

So I guess I could try fixing it with my computer at work tomorrow, as at least PCC seems to work on that, ha. Will see what happens and hopefully it will fix the call issue.

Thanks.
