Xperia Mira bootloop problem

Hi all,

I'm having a very annoying issue with my Xperia Miro (one of these http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/phones/xperia-miro/)

I tried to upload a picture onto Instagram, after adding filters it sometimes freezes and i have to wait either til it forces the app to close or sometimes it reboots.

However today it rebooted but has got stuck in a reboot loop- sometimes it gets as far as letting me unlock before it freezes but mostly the touchscreen is frozen and it restarts again multiple times until it stops completely. I've tried removing the battery and restarting it but its made no difference.

Twice its stayed on with a frozen unlock screen and vibrated for about a minute before shutting off again.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Remove the SIM card and try to turn it on

Then also use Sony PC Companion to repair it.

I've tried both, but my device won't stay on long enough for it to install/connect to Companion. I've tried WiFi and USB but neither will work 😕
