Sony Xperia M making and receiving calls problems

My phone was working fine until few weeks ago. It doesn't seem to be a problem of coverage, I keep on receiving messages.
When I try to call it would stop with a beep and when somebody calls me they get a message that my phone is turned off.
I reset it yesterday and tried another sim card but the issue seems to persist.can somebody helps me?

a hardware issue, contact Sony Xperia Support

try another sim in your mobile and try your sim in another mobile.

see which of them works.

That seems to be a SIM card issue or a network coverage issue
