From time to time screen WON'T TURN THE KEYBOARD JUST FLASHES AND NOTHING HAPPENS (I am trying over 5 minutes to type here in landscape mode and finally I gave up as the keyboard never shows up)

Screen sometimes freezes or gets cropped or sometimes like in the picture (screenshot), tried factory reset and still no use

Try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

@poison. I have similar problem in 4.4.4 with the xperia , Minuum and swift key Keyboard.
Now I only have xperia and Minuum installed but problem exists even when xperia is the only keyboard installed.
Don't know if this will work for you or not but restart (or restarts) normally will temporarily solve my problem.

Even flap on the SD card (and I used it almost like with gloves and still getting screwed up)
