Update Failed

i updated my xperia m to the newest update. and now when i press the volume button all it shows is a black box with no speaker or vibration icon present and when i am using it the phone switches off and stays off about 5 minutes and then restarts.

can anyone help

Hi,

Sounds like something went wrong in the update. I suggest that you try to reinstall the latest software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".

Just set a default theme from the device and restart,the volume bar will be ok.

None of these Have helped fix my phone I am going to sending my phone back to Sony.
