It was done in phones with small internal memory. I guess that if ever it will be done in next update but I wouldn't hope for it.

Why? It's unusual function. If Sony would add it to 4.4 it would make hard for them to give us Android L. I personally expect to get L and M androids on Z2 Tablet. Fingers crossed that it will happen.
And if that's the case I can live without move to SD.

Hi!

Google removed the ability to move apps into SD in Android 4.4 KitKat. You can only move other data to SD using first party application. File Commander on Z2 Tablet.

I understand that you may feel annoyed but you need to manage your apps and data to keep some free space.
But you can always reinstall app if you want to return to it. You can always check the size of the app in Settings / Applications / Downloaded and remove only the biggest ones.

Enjoy your tablet.

I see that the app to sd card has been put in other phone with a Sony update. You would think the same would be done with the z2 phone and tablet
