Walkman 8.4.A.3.1 update

A new Walkman update (8.4.A.3.1) will start to roll out today and gradually over the next two weeks.

As requested by many of you, Walkman now support folder browsing.

You will receive a notification in the phone about this new update.

If you want to scan for the update manually you can do so via the Update Center application found in your app drawer.

Change log

* Possibility to browse your music via folders.

* Walkman® widget to work on Android default home screen.

* Bug fixes and performance enhancements.

The update is working fine, although the incorrect album covers are still being shown in My Library.

I can't still see lockscreen widget just like previous update. For me other bugs are fixed for now.
All i need is old song search function which we used to use in w910i, etc.when we search a song during playlist, we should go on from that playlist without choosing that playlist again.

Finally! After many years Sony discovered users store their music in folders and has started to support it. Thank you guys!

still no playlist sorting ability, still no "play all by artist" option... just one button in the artist page or just the "queue" option when tap-holding on the artist.

there must be one programmer working on it, by the speed and quality of updates being released

I have managed to get the correct album covers to show in My Library by clearing the data in the app settings 🙂

I was waiting for Folder Play feature since long time. Thanks a lot Sony for adding it finally.

The Walkman homescreen widget now supports other home screen replacements. Eg. Nova launcher.

I updated my walkman to the latest version. But all the folders with the sound that is included in a game, ringtones, notifications and such have been included. How can I undo the update or maybe, choose the folder? Thank you and good day!
