Have you tried running the phone in safe mode to see if the problem still persists? If not, you should give it a try. To set the phone in safe mode, press on/off button until the menu pops up. Press and hold on 'turn phone off' until the phone starts in safe mode. When in safe mode the phone will not load any 3rd party apps.

Dear Madam / Sir,

Since last two days, I am finding the following message on the black screen immediately after attempting to open the camera by touching the Camera Icon, "Error : Camera not available". I have already tried (after switching off) taking the battery, SIM card and Memory card out and putting them back after sometime, but could not open the camera. Will you please help ?

I am using a Sony X-Peria-M single-SIM phone (C-1904) since last October 2013.

Shall be immensely grateful for help. I am yet to take the phone to the service station.

A Kundu
