Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Sorry to hear that your phone doesn't charge.

Have you tried to remove and reinsert the battery in the phone? Also try charging the phone using another charger or a computer if that doesn't help.

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

Hi,

I am new on the board. I have had the Sony Xperia M since February and I have had no problems with the smartphone whatsoever. The battery had ran low and was completely drained, usually I will put it on charge and it will come after a while. However, the smartphone failed to charge and won't switch back on. Now everytime I try and charge the smartphone, it will appear with a red light and the light will disappear after 10 minutes and the phone still won't switch on.

Does the battery need replacing or is there a fault with the actual smartphone?

Thanks.
