Try booting into Safe mode and see!!!
Get the power menu, tap and hold power off button, and tap OK to boot into the safe mode! If this works normally there's nothing wrong with your phone or the camera! (it should be some other 3rd party app)

Just switch off and switch on again normally to boot to the normal mode!

Usually if you zoom in video mode it's not clear as in still photo mode! That's normal!!

And this is mat be due to a low class SD card used in the phone!! Try shooting photos and videos to internal storage before you boot into the safe mode! And try that in safe mode too!

Third party apps cannot write to other directories than their own and cannot write on SD,so you won't be able to hide like that.

That's what I thought to be an application error, used keepsafe on ewery device with JB, now app errors and black useless copies make sense. Kinda forgot that now i'm running kitkat. That setting is a real pain in t** ***. What was a point to lock down all SD functionality when you have just 5GB available on system disk, and making it work with 128GB SD cards that can only store photos and music?

Safe mode didn't work!.... Even here camera behaves like that.... Opening with a small lag.... And when I transfer from capture mode to video shoot mode screen punches in( I mean get zoom) automatically and lacks clarity 😞

Then clear Camera app data and cache!! Then the problem should be solved unless there's any hardware issue (This shouldn't be a hardware issue)

And that getting zoomed thingy is due to Digital Image Stabilizing (SteadyShot), its not something wrong with your phone or camera!!
That happens because the real image get cropped to make the stability!! Try switching off SteadyShot in options! You'll see that it'll come back on to the real, uncropped image!!
It doesn't make the video to be with a siginificant loss in clarity! You should notice this when playing the recorded video!!
