Update for Xperia Z1 failed

Hi,

I am updating my Z1 phone. But due to some reason my system got restarted.

Now my mobile is not starting, and I am getting an error message on my mobile, 'Update failed. Please connct your phoe to computer and try again'.

Well I am alsi not able to connect my phone to computer, devise not found

Please help me

Sounds like you need to perform a system repair

To perform a system repair which will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

That is to fully switch your phone off then Start PCC and follow the guide as above

My mobile was already in a switch off mode.
When I try it to start it displays Sony logo, and give error messages.
I finally went to Sony service Centre, and they took long to format device.
That is they gave me device next working day(2-3 days)
