Peripheral Bluetooth™ devices usually do not need a driver, as Bluetooth™ is a standardised technology. All drivers which are needed to connect peripheral devices via Bluetooth™ should already be installed on the PC.

If your PC asks for a driver (e.g. a "Bluetooth peripheral device" driver) for a peripheral Bluetooth™ device it means, that a driver for the Bluetooth™ interface of your PC is missing in the driver library of the Windows OS.

To solve this issue, you should reinstall the Bluetooth™ drivers on your PC. Please contact the manufacturer of your Bluetooth™ chipset to get the latest version of the Bluetooth™ drivers for your PC

Blue Tooth Peripheral Driver

I love my Xperia, and have laughed whenever someone says something about how great the iphone is. So I recently got a set of bluetooth speakers for my computer and decided that was a feature that I had been entirely under utilizing with my phone. I got a USB bluetooth dongle for my PC and paired my phone to the bluetooth. My PC can see it but all of the cool things that I want to use the bluetooth to do don't seem to be capable. Just a very simple level of file transfer that only goes from my PC to my phone, and not the other way around. I would really like to acheive full functionality out of my bluetooth. I can't explore the files on my phone, no remoting to the PC from my phone, or any of the cool stuff. Windows is telling me that I am missing a bluetooth peripheral driver for the phone. I have included a screen shot of whats going on.

I have also downloaded this driver:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/sony-xperia-z1s-c6916-driver/

but that doesn't seem to help with anything. Any help with this?

Same happened to me some time ago,the peripheral device seems not able to install. And I have also tried some drivers and updates, but they did not work.I have Windows 7 x64.Strange,the only thing that works is the bluetooth transfer but it is slow and no need for it.
