Vertical black lines on display

Dear Support Staff,

About a month back, i bought the new Sony xperia z1 compact from souq.com. Till, yesterday, everything was running smoothly and i was pretty awed with your product. Today, i found some black lines on my compact display running vertically from the top to the bottom of the screen and it kept on increasing with time. Now, it almost covering 30% of the screen.I can vouch that my phone has never fallen down nor into water, yet.. My first mobile was a sony ericsson, K310,which was such a good phone. I am big fan of Sony, i prefer Sony, more than any other product, but right now, i am flabbergasted. I am having difficulty in reading webpages, viewing videos and photos, and till yesterday i was flaunting my phone, now i am hiding it. I had saved a lot of hard earned money to buy this mobile, as this is my first smart phone and that too way expensive for my kind. I tried restarting the phone, i did a hard reset, near the micro sim port, but it wont go away. The display starts blurring and more lines keep on coming. Please look into the matter as the situation is pretty dire. Now i have the guarantee card, the bill and i need to know how i can go further and get my phone repaired ? Hoping to hear from you soon,

I have the same problem appearing on the screen of my z1 compact - only purchased in March this year. What is my best option in order to get this fixed?

@micro1931 - Please follow my advice above regarding having an assessment arranged.
