A decent make like Sandisk and I'd advise going for a class 10

As above,it should support up to 64GB,choose between Sandisk or Sony.

128 GB Sandisk also works.

With previous micro SD cards, I can also recommend Samsung.

Are you saying that you put an 128GB card into Z1C and the phone recognized it correctly and is able to use all the storage space available? Is it reporting the card as an 128GB card?

Be aware that you can only store media files on SD,no applications.

I have a samsung evo 64 gb class 10, and it works fine, but some sandisk are faster but Also expensive than samsung.

Why this restriction is established by Sony under KitKat 4.4.4?

The statement this is a security feature introduces by google is definitivley wrong.

A friend show me his new HTC-Handy with KitKat 4.4.4. There is the possibility (again) to move app-data to sd card.

In the moment it makes absolutly no sense to have a sd-card with 64 GB in a Sony Z1 C.

When will Sony correct this??

I can definitely say it is a restriction from google. I do not know about when Sony will remove it or not.

Saying that a 64 GB SD card makes no sense in a Z1C, might be true for you, but there are plenty of scenarios to fill up a SD card.

Some apps and games have the option to store additional data on the SD card.

For instance NavFree can store maps on the SD card.

When you store 720p (or even 1080p) high bit rate movies on your SD card, it can fill up quite quickly (Gigabytes per movie).

Photos and movies made with the camera can be stored on the SD card.

A lot of people I know have large music collections stored on SD cards in their phones.
