One day, my tablet is fine, the next no sound can be played on any app and the power button won't respond. No damage, didn't drop it, etc. Please help!

Sorry to hear about your device. First of all I would suggest that you try to force a power off on your device:

Let it be turned off for a few minutes and try to start the tablet again.

A similar situation. Sound disappeared and stopped working power button, what to do?

I have exactly same problem I tried it with Walkman as you suggested, but it doesn't help. Reset to the factory settings doesn't help neither.. What should I do? I can see that I'm not alone with the issue so can Sony do something about it? Thx
