I purchased a secondhand U.S version Xperia SP and live in Austraila. All functions so far appear to be working fine, however i copied some movies over to the handset and get a "cannot play video" message. They were MP4 format, and i've also tried AVI and a few other's, and i've also chosed the option to convert when copying which automatically pops up when copying from laptop to mobile.

Any suggestions as to what i can do to fix this????

My boyfriend also has an Xperia SP (purchased in Australia) and it plays MP4 movies which were copied over with no hassles....i would have thought MP4 was a very 'generic' format and would play no matter what country the handset was from
