Use "volume control +" app, with this you can lock the controls at your desired level.

Dave

My phone keeps automatically and unilaterally turning the volume down on ringtonesand alarms without any warning or direction from me. Really **bleep** annoying because I keep missing calls. As soon as I put the volume back up and the power drops to 50% it cut the volume again. Recent problem - perhaps after an update? A really simple thing that a phone shouldn't do. Ayny ideas how to put it right?

Thanks for that but it hasn't worked. I loaded the app, set it and as soon as the battery got to 50% power it overrode everything again and went back to ridiculously low volumes.

Stupid phone.

Any ideas on how to fix this fundamental phone flaw?

Anyone from Sony actually on these forums?

Try adding it to the Stamina Mode exclusions

Dave

Thanks for coming back so quickly and trying to help out.

I've actually got stamina mode switched off in a bid to solve this.

Still got the same problem.

Any ideas?

That's odd - only things I can think of is to make sure the shortcut shows in the status bar else android will try to stop the service. Also background service needs to be checked for the lock feature to function.

Dave

Hi, Conf.

Do you activate Low Battery Mode?

Check this
Settings > Power Management > Low Battery Mode > xLOUD: untick/uncheck.

If you already unticked and or haven't activated that mode but the problem still persists, perhaps it's your phone/hardware has issues.
