topic SW2 Host App Crashing in XPERIA archive

So I have the Smart Watch 2, and I have it paired with my HTC Vivid smartphone.

There are a number of features that make the host app crash. The watch works fine, but the host app crashes on the phone and I basically have to reboot the watch and phone to make the host app and watch communicate again.

The following actions cause the host app to crash on my phone:

1) Using any music controller app on the watch

2) Receiving a call on my phone

3) Sometimes when replying to a text message using the watch (since the messaging app lets you respond to a text message with certain select phrases that you can preset).

The above three features are 3 of the main reasons I wanted the SW2, and they are the three that don't work. Basically almost any action that requires the phone to do something that the watch tells it to do crashes the host app. Facebook and text message updates work fine. Any info that gets pushed to the watch from the phone updates fine. It's when the watch has to control the phone that phone host app crashes. It's ridiculous.

EDIT: I should also add that I know for sure that I have the latest firmware update on the watch as well as the latest version of the host application AND I have already gone through the process of uninstalling and resetting everything. Still no luck.

Are you referring to the SmartConnect app?

Not the Smart Connect app. The Smartwatch 2 app.

When I try to do the stuff I described above, my phone shows an error message stating, "Unfortunately, SmartWatch 2 has stopped."
