Hi all,

I have just bought the Xperia T3 and now using it in the US with T-Mobile. However, I don't see any status icon showing LTE (while the user manual hasn't shown any as well but only 3G and 2G). The speed is apprently not 4G/LTE anyway...so is the phone really supporting LTE or it is the problem of the service provider ?

Your help is very much appreciated, thanks!

Hi Aledon,

Thanks for your reply! I have already selected LTE(preferred)/WCDMA/GSM there...but still no luck

Did you apply the right settings for Mobile and MMS as some networks have 2 options

You should give it a try and check with T-mobile about this.

Thanks guys for your replies! I think I will check with T-Mobile about this then.

Just one thing to make sure...I have got "E" right now and have seen 3G when I am using it in Hong Kong. If it is running LTE/4G, what is the status icon located on the top ?

Thanks!

E is 2G - Just starting to wonder if the firmware or the exact model number isn't compatible with 4G in the country you are in due to frequencys - But you'd have to check your countrys frequencys and your model number are compatible

You should see 4G near the signal.
