stuck on 4.2.2

Hello,

I have a Sony Xperia Z1 which I bought in Europe and updated successfully to 4.4.4 late 2013.

Since then I have been living in Brazil, and just recently I had to restore my phone. Now I am back to 4.2.2 and cannot get the update to 4.4.4 - the phones tells me it is already running the latest software, as does Sony Companion when I connect to my PC.

This is very frustrating, primarily becuase I remember there we noticeable issues with the camera running 4.2.2 which I am now experiencing again.

How can I get back to 4.4.4?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

That sounds strange. A factory reset should not downgrade your phone to a previous software. Could you please send me a PM with your IMEI-number?

I have similar problem,

I purchased a second hand Z1 and it come with 4.2.2

I tried update and recover via PC companion but it said my phone already has lates version.

Please help
