How many of us will recommend Sony mobile to others ?

Dear Friends,

Based on the experience could you please tell, your opioin about recommending Sony phone to others.The reply would be, our feedback to sony about their future.

"I beleive they are Product oriented and not customer". And I won't recommend Sony to my friends..The reasons are as follows

Delayed/unconfirmed updates
Never ending bugs
Excellent deisgn with less focus on S/w
Poor custoemr support post purchase

Well, let's face it - human nature is such - we're never satisfied! Period.

To recommend or not to recommend - I for one buy my own choice., if someone wants to recommend me something, I won't mind taking up his/her recommendation under proviso he/she buys it for me. This is strictly my own personal opinion and I stick by it.

Forma me, I never believed in Ericcson, and then Sony Ericcson, and last, Sony Mobiles, but, when muy company (Vodafone Spain) told me that it was the best phone I could take, looking my plan, I doubted a lot, but I said OK, send me Xperia SP.
My surprise: the worst phone I had, my Huawei G510 was better.
My cousin has a Xperia M2 and has problems too. Muy neighbor has Z1 and problems too.
Now, I am very sure its my first and last Sony Mobile.
Ohhh! I must say too, when I bought Xperia SP, con the web I saw with my own eyes that will be update to KitKat and then they change. This, un my case, its a bad selling practice

I do like my SP, the hardware is powerful enough for my needs, the size of the screen is perfect, the LED bar is very useful, but the total lack of support from Sony has ruined it for me. They've only released 1 firmware update in Canada in the past 12 months and we never get any of the small bug fixing system updates. For that reason alone I would never recommend or buy another one myself.

I will not recommend Sony mobile to anyone that respects his money. But I will recommend to any other division best TV's worldwide.
The design the quality of materials and power of Sp also and for other mobiles of Sony are excellent.
But the software support and bugs are so bad. So bad that surprised me comparing them with the size of this company.
A and I cannot forget how faceless this company is which is really annoying.

I already protected many of my friends from spending large sum of money in a fail "Xperia"nce... And the tragic fact is that at least half of them already knew all of this about Sony mobile.

I am perfectly satisfied with my phone, and I recommend to other people to buy Sony phones. In comparison to toher companies the only phone that was actually perfect for me was a Sony mobile (xperia SP).

Of course sometimes, I had several problems, but in a few moments they were solved on their own. It also depends on how the user uses his phone, if his careless with it, logically it ain't gonna work right!

but it nothing to do woth how you operate it.. For isnstance the wifi bluetooth issue. It is not a user generated issue,it a problem of Sony's making. Surley any phone should allow you to use Bluetooth and wifi at same time..

The fix of this issue alone will be a test of Sony and it support of its products. If not fixed quickly I will not only not recomend Sony to friends, I will actively try and pusuade them not to go with Sony!!!

does this happen to all sony mobiles? I haven't even tried to use bluetooth and wifi on the same time. Why would I even do that, when I can send everything through wifi.

Come on man what wrong the user can do when he is trying to update a STOCK phone with a Sony update and then with SONY'S fault the update destroy the phone? Try Install on your mobile the .206 version and see what a buggy update really do. I know now with. 205 almost everything is working good. And I say almost because for example some things don't work . Go to storage and try to move data from phone to sd card to save space... You feel the bug now?....

I would not recommend SP as is to anyone, but I´m waiting for some replacement roms like CyanogenMod to have a final release that supports this phone so I can get the full potential out of this one. This cannot be such a crap phone that it is with this peace on sh.t Sony software. And when and if it comes to loosing warranty, who cares.

Sony has like a tail light guarantee for this one. Once you buy one your on your own. And selling this phone to someone else is like intensional cheating, right?!

6 months ago yes definitely I was telling everyone they should get an Xperia, nearly got the Xperia Z tablet my self too.
Now since the shocking customer service experience with the battery issues I am actively telling people to avoid sony mobile.
I've had only Sony (Ericsson) for the last 14 years, no more for me.

Beens using for 5-6months now and no complains (other than can't connect to windows 8.1 via usb, wifi works). I bought the last gen model so it wasn't too expencive. Someone who paid double the money might be upset about power consumption. With previous sony phones ive got good customer support but last time i had problem was 3-4yeras ago so it could have changed. Also I live in Finland and we have laws on warranties and such so it could indeed be wery different.

I don't recommend anything, not because I dislike product, I just don't want to be blamed if someone has different opinion or bad luck.

I'm afraid I had to encourage my friend not to buy any Xperia model. My .205 firmware is almost satisfactory now but there's been too much trouble with it. And definitely for too long.

if we get Kit Kat for SP it may change my opinion but now , i don't recommend Sony mobile to any one because of bad support of software and changing they promise of 4.4 for SP and very bad and buggy 4.3 firmware that SP have ! i'm satisfy with Sony mobile hardware but i am not satisfy with software and support at all . i think Samsung , LG , htc and HUAWEI have very better software (futures and user interface) than Sony software . heating is too much than Samsung devices that i had , SAR is more than Samsung devices (for example) that its not good . screen is not good at all as Samsung screens like AMOLED and HUAWEI LTPS.
