Hello, is there a way to throw a streaming media like hbo, on your TV, I have an elderly kdl 5500, the TV is connected to my wireless router and phone goes via WiFi, I can easily throw the music app, album etc. Allso netflix can be thrown after last update, but as far as I can see, hbo still doesn't have that feature.

So my question is, how can I throw hbo, is there any app or something, ty in advance

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

To do that you will need to use MHL or Screen Mirroring (Miracast) instead. Using an MHL-adapter you can connect the phone using HDMI instead.
If you want to do it wirelessly you need to buy a Miracast-receiver for your TV. Just make sure that you get one that supports HDCP if you select this option. Otherwise you can only mirror the phones preinstalled apps.

And try to avoid PTV3000 from Netgear. I had a lot of issues with it (unable to connect to Z1/Z2 until 4.4.4) and it causes HDMI stack error in my TV (KDL-40HX850). When it is connected I'm unable to use remote speakers (Sony AMP) using HDMI-ARC.
