topic Video record error in XPERIA archive

Video record error

Hi , i just got my new Xperia Z and i tested the camera ( nice pics ) , but the video recorder doesn't work . On Android 4.2 it said : Unknown error.

I updated to 4.3 in hope it will fix it , but still not working , just sais : camera is not avaiable .

Please help .

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Please try this: Main Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear Data > ok.

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

I have tried the clear data solution , but it didn't work . i still receive the error . Any other suggestions ?

Hi , has anyone found a solution for the unknown error when recording a video?

I tried clearing the memory at the camera app , i tried removing the sd card , tried the repair with the PC companion and i still can't record a video ..

Should i send the phone to warranty ?

Send the device into warranty.
