Thanks for the suggestions, Thommo. I already tried that. It seems, however, that my problem is releated to the SoundAbout app which I installed due to issues with my phone not recognising when my headphones were attached. When I set SoundAbout to always use headphones for media sounds (like music), it seems that the overall volume of ringtone etc is affected in the way I experience. Just after posting yesterday, I changed the setting in SA to "let app decide", and suddenly ringtone volume etc went back to normal again.

Go figure...

/Magnus

For the past 2 weeks or so the volume on my XM ringtone and timer alarm are very low. Before, when I pressed the volume down button, going from full and down was a progression of lower tones, perhaps some 8-10 before gradually reaching silence. Now, pressing volume down, from full, it starts out very low and reaches silence after pressing 3 times.

This is getting to be annoying, since I don't hear calls and miss them.

Any help would be much appreciated. I like my XM, this is the first thing about it that I would consider a real problem.

Best,

Magnus

Try Settings then Sounds then Volume and you will have 3 options - One maybe low hence the low volume you have
