XPERIA Z2- PROBLEMS WITH APPLICATIONS - HELP

1) THE PHONE IS NOT PUT TO SLEEP EVENTHOUGH IT IS SET ON 15 SEC (OR 30 SEC, OR 1 MIN!)

2) THE CALENDAR DOESNOT GET SYNCRONIZED WITH FACEBOOK BIRTHDAYS OR EVENTS ALTHOUGH THE APPROPRIATE SETTINGS ARE DONE!

I HAVE CHECKED AND RE-CHECKED EVERYTHING. AND EVEN RE-INSTALLED THE FACTORY SETTINGS.

STILL THE SAME PROBLEM

1 that could be an app acting up and keeping your phone awake.

2. have you gone through the calendar settings ?

Boot on safe mode and check again

1) How can I check that?

2) yes I have gone through calendar settings and FB settings as well.

3) I went on SAFE MODE, nothing happened

Well, I used PCC.

1) First I checked if it would go to sleep! in 15sec. And it did but not completely. The screen just faded ..

2) Then checked the calendar/Facebood synch and it was fixed.

Then I restored my files backup:

1) the sleep mode stopped working

2) Sync still works.

Any other thoughts?

Just to clarify, when you say it just faded, do you mean the backlight was still on when it went to "sleep"?
