DCIM folder date error

Hye,

recently i am facing problem with my camera. When i start, it says 'memory full. delete some data'. however there is more than 9Gb of space unused.

While checking around i found that my DCIM folder is missing and is rather shown in an unknown format. Also, the date of the dcim folder is shown as 01/01/1970. I cannot delete it or create another folder with the same known.

If anybody can help me out with this.

Try to clear data for camera app under settings-apps-all.You say you are saving them to internal memory?

hey!

cleared data, still doesnt help . I guess the problem might be with the creation/mod date of the DCIM folder which shows 01/01/1970.

nd yeah i am using internal memory. i havent got sdcard.

This is strange,I have seen this before but don't remember the steps to solve this.Do you have some antivirus?

Borrow someone's SD card and confirm camera works using that? Then maybe try factory reset (assuming the reset rebuilds the internal flash file system)?
