I have had some problems with my xperia play, when i locked the screen and tried to unlock it, the screen stayed black, as if the screen had burnt, i noticed that the phone was still turned on, because it recieved notifications, calls and things like that, i always had to take the battery out and boot the phone so i could use it, but i had to end up changing the "lock screen" timer to the maximum and having the screen always on, yesterday, the screen locked because i forgot to touch the screen for more than 30 minutes, i took out the battery, tried to turn it on, and nothig happened, i tried to repair the phone via pc companion, and booted fine, it worked alright until about 2 hours ago, the same thing happened again, so i took out the battery, now it wont boot, help.

This seems to be a hardware issue, so you will have to contact your local Xperia Care Center

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
