Turning off vibrate function

Hi there! I just bought a sony xperia z1 compact and it was delivered today. However, when I tried to turn off the vibration function, I failed. I know how to put it in silent mode but I'm getting totally crazy of this constant vibration (it's still continuing when in silent mode) which almost sounds like a car is driving past me. Does anybody know how to turn it off? Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about vibrations on touch?Or vibration on calls?

On touch, when you scroll or tap the screen etc.

Settings-sound-untick vibrate on touch.

Already tried that, 'vibrating in touch' is turned off but still vibrating with every touch. Also already turned the phone off and in again. Doesn't work either.

Does the same occur in safe mode?
