I prefer samsung smart stay where it scan and see.if ur face is reading something. This one is.it detect motion or vibration and then keeps your phone alive. Bit what happened if you are driving and you forgot to lock you phone? When you are carrying it anywhere bag or pocket not lock the screen keep alive and after 1hr drive you phone is hot and already 25% battery eaten.

Anyways Sony. Hope my.voice will be counted.

I feel Lg will be the next big thing.

i think i have the exact opposite of your problem mate, most of the time my phone's screen turns off even when im holding it. Even tried moving my hand slowly to see if the smart backlight works. The screen does happen to stay on sometimes though, it has its good days and its bad days .-.
