Some annoying glitches/bugs

I've had the Z1C for over 3 weeks now and I wish I was totally satisfied with it, but there are a few annoying bugs stopping this from happening.

- My call log widget is always empty - why? I have always used this frequently on my older Xperias so this is very annoying

- I still cannot find a fix for the contact shortcuts issue - the shortcuts still either have NO images, or they show the WRONG images

You can see both of these problems evident in the screenshot below:

- Another problem is, sometimes when I am typing on the touchscreen, it will stop responding for a brief moment - then it will start typing all sorts of random characters on it's own, almost like the screen is wet (it isn't) What could be the problem here?? Could it be my screen protector causing it?

Thanks for any input. I would ideally like to get these issues resolved.

Open phone dial, then go to option and the click show call logs. See if this solves your issues.

Fir typing issues, I would like to know which keyboard you are using try changing the keyboard to swiftkey or to default sony keyboard and see if problem persists.

I've tried the show call logs option but there's been no change on that one.

Also I am using the standard Sony keyboard that came with it. Generally I am very happy with the keyboard, but sometimes it appears to stick and then type all sorts of random characters and it's really annoying.

Another problem I have that I had forgotten to mention in the opening post:

Wifi! Never ever had a problem on the Xperia X10 or Xperia S - but my wifi (same router as on my old phones) is really playing up on the Z1 Compact. Sometimes it will be working and I'll be browsing, or on Youtube - then I'll get errors such as no connection - even though the WIFI symbol is shown in the status bar. Then I have to wait a while, and it will start working again.

Alternatively, sometimes the Wifi actually does drop off - i.e - the symbol disappears from the status bar. It then reappears after 30 seconds or so.

It's very frustrating. What could be causing these wifi issues that I never had on my other phones (or my laptop/PC)?

I have no screen protector. But I have the touchscreen problem that touchscreen randomly clicks somewhere on the screen without my touches.

It's so annoying isn't it! It happens for a flurry of a few seconds and then stops. I mainly have this problem (but not limited to) my PIN number on the lock screen - it will just fill up the number box with random numbers.

Just as an update to some of the problems above:

Two days ago Update Centre gave me the notification for 4.4.4 - I updated last night and can comfirm that the "Contact shortcuts" photo issue is resolved now. It's also looking like the Most Recent Calls widget is working properly now, although I will monitor this. I also have not had time to test my WIFI issue above.
