    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i am syncing my outlook with the pohne having some 4,500 contacts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when i use the phone app i recieve the following error process.com.android.phone has stopped.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have a similiar error with contacts app.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have cleared the chach of the app it worked for a while and the error came back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what can i do??&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thank you for any help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You could try to clear data for apps (not only cache). Go to settings &amp;gt; apps &amp;gt; phone/contacts &amp;gt; clear data. Restart your device and try again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;hello.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i've tried this sollutin many times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have updated my phone with the latest firmware.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ii've updated the phone application when the phone asked me to.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;nothing seems to work!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone: &lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008" target="_blank"&gt;http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If the behavior persists in safe mode I advice you to repair the phone software using PC Companion:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.sonymobile.com/update" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://www.sonymobile.com/update&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone &amp;gt; Start on Update the phone/tablet software &amp;gt; Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".&lt;/P&gt;
