Hi. I NEEDED SOME HELP. I WANT TO PLAY VIDEOS ON MY PHONE BUT I WANT MY BLUETOOTH EARPIECE TO HAVE THE SOUND COMING OUT OF IT. IT IS ALREADY CONNECTED AS A PAIRED DEVICE...BUT WHENEVER I PLAY MUSIC OR A VIDEO THE SOUMD COMES FROM THE PHONE...PLEASE HELP I HAVE A SONY VIVAZ PRO

yea it works perfectly fine...i used to use the same headset on my old phone to listen to video audio

This may be because this headset is not compatible with the Vivaz for audio streaming: check to see whether your phone has Audio streaming listed in the BT Services available for this headset.

Which headset is it and is it a stereo bluetooth headset, or just an ordinary BT headset? Which was your old phone?

i have 2 bluetooth normal headsets: Motorola H375 and Motorola H555

my old phones were LG Xenon and Sony Ericsson T715A

These headsets are mono headsets and although they work OK for calls on the Vivaz, they are most probably not compatible with the Vivaz for audio streaming, in order to listen to music/video.You would need a compatible Bluetooth stereo headset for this.

Does the Vivaz give you information on the types of BT Services available with these headsets?

An example of the type of BT stereo headset that allows Audio streaming and is compatible with the Vivaz is the HBH-DS205, details of which you will find on the SE website and if you want to buy it, I would suggest Amazon.co.uk

Unfortunately I have no possibilities to try with other manufacturers headsets, otherwise I would have.

There is no settings in the phone that could affect this somehow, and if it's working with the other SE phone it should work with your Vivaz as well.

My best suggestions is to make sure that you are using the latest firmware for the phone and if so check if the same problem occurs when using a headset that is listed as compatible with the phone.

Actually, I don't think there is.I have a mono BT headset which works fine with my old Motorola V600 for both calls and music.However, although this headset also works for calls with the W995, it will not stream music and the sound only comes out of the phone's external speakers.

When I use the HBH-DS205 BT stereo headset it will stream music with the W995 and will also work with the V600 for both calls and music as it is backwards compatible with the older BT version on the Motorola phone.So it's simply a case of BT compatibility for audio streaming which the mono headsets lack.

Using your phone's internet browser, go to Accessories--designate which phone you have and then select Music from the accessories list.

actually this has also been an issue that has been bugging me for a while now since I got the Vivaz phone.

I have a Sony Ericsson VH-310 bluetooth headset which is listed as a compatible bluetooth headset for the Vivaz (in the Extras section of the webpage you mentioned) but for the life of me I cannot get the phone to stream mono audio to the headset. I figure that it can't be an incompatibility since both are Sony products.

I can for instance, use the headset for mono audio streaming from my laptop, so I know that it's not a headset problem. Is there anything that can be done to get the Vivaz to add mono streaming to its functionality list for this headset?
