That sounds quite strange. Have you checked if you have any new updates for your phone? You can connect your phone to the program PC Companion to update it:

HI ALL

recently bought a Z2 in Australia, based on version 17.1.A.2.55. JUST found the issue today when playing music by walkman, if I block the front "sensor" area, the sound will come out from the earphone rather then the speakers...so weird and annoying....imagine if i turn on the walkman then turn the phone facing down, the phone will be like in mute....

Also, sometimes just after finish a call, the screen wouldn't wake up itself unless i press the "power" button....

is this normal? i don't think so though

to be honest, everything was so smooth with my last SONY phone LT26, but now i'm feeling a bit disappointed about Z2. can anyone from SONY just get back t me? i will try reset straight away and if the problem is still here, i will have to bring the phone back and claim a warranty.
