It is almost 2-3 weeks over, so i dont think it should be because of water. Eventhough water is there, it should have dried out by this time.

Strange, this does not occur on Z1 on .108.It was on .757 if I remember correctly but it was fixed.I suggest you to try a software repair:

Has your phone been in contact with water? if it has, let the speaker dry out

Sony care not taking under warranty for ring tone issue

I went to Sony care since i was having ring volume issue after android update, currently the ring volume is low that i miss lot of incoming calls. I also had the usb port flap got removed. When enquired they say that since the flap is removed the entire produce is out of warranty so even the repair for the ring volume will be out of warranty. I could not understand the logic behind this. I am ok to pay for usb flap, not for the ring tone issue.

Sony care, Egmore, chennai, India
