Loudspeaker not working

Frnds my phone loudspeaker not working suddenly.I already encountered the same issue, but when u plug in and plug out it will work normal.i also resetted and repaired software using pcc,but this time i tried all the mentioned options above nothing works till now(already one week gone).need some useful ans please...please

If a software repair didn't help,you should stop by a sony service.

I already did,they are saying speaker works fine and this might be a software bug....what the **bleep**?????

I experienced this phenomenon about three times now. It got me puzzled.

I found out that connecting and disconnecting headphones solved the issue.

It looks like the phone did not realise my headphones was disconnected. Therefore there was no audio output to the speaker.

You might try connecting and than disconnecting the headphones. If this does not work directly you can reboot your phone and then perform the connecting/disconnecting.

It seems that sometimes the phone stays in headphone mode or vice versa.Sometimes,disconnecting the headset while listening to music or while in a call sorts it out.

I also have the loudspeaker problem, I replaced the speaker and the problem is still there.

This problem exists in almost every xperia sp...
At first it happened to me but after regular headphone usage it's working fine now..

Hey guys, I had this issue too and the problem with me was dust in the headphone socket. Simply grab a toothpick and try to pluck the dust out (this is probably due to the phone being in your pocket allmost all the time) After I got the dust out everything was fine for me.

You have to pause the music and then plug out the headphones
