Thanks guys for your help I believe it was due to overheating because it was really hot and i left it to cool down though had to charge it for an hour as the battery was dead

So i was texting my girlfriend last night and as i replied back i locked my phone as usual waiting for her reply. I then tried to unlock it but it seemed to have not responded like I don't know if it's just not responding or it turned off. I tried to turn it on by holding the power button but it didn't seem to work. The whole system just crashed down on me and it just wouldn't turn on. Any Advice?

Try holding Volume up and power for around 10 to 15 seconds or if you have a little red reset button then press that - Then try to start your phone - If that fails then redo the 1st part and place on charge for around 2 hours - During this time don't try turning on your phone untill you unplug from the charger
