Thanks, as I am 4G on the new phone they are sending me a new sim, I am wondering if after I have registered the phone with the new sim, I can swop to the old sim, copy contacts to phone and then replace sim with new one again.

Does that sound like a sensible plan?

If not I will follow up on your other suggestions.

Ray

Your contacts are they stored as a Google contact phone or sim - If it's a sim then which ever phone you put your sim in the contacts will be there phone then you could try a 3rd party app or save them as a .vcf file then transfer that file and update accordingly or Google contct you should be able to once logged in to Google on your new phone sync contacts and they will appear

I am assuming that as the Xperia U is not supported by any of the Xperia Transfer modes, that I will have to reload all my apps onto the new phone one at a time, unless anyone knows different............................????????

Ray
