Hi,

You should be able to disable the notification by unchecking the checkbox in the app configuration (configuration - Apps - Smartband/LiveLog)

Richard

On my Z2 lifelog puts a notification in the notification bar that says "logging activated" and it won't stay cleared. If I clear it, it comes back after about 10 seconds. I can disable notifications for lifelog completely but don't want to do that. Has anyone else got this issue?

For me on my Nexus 5, it's an ongoing notification that can't be cleared at all. It's probably done like that to stop Android from killing the app automatically if it gets bogged down.

^ That makes no sense.

I would also like to find a way to remove these ridiculous permanent notifications. I have one for the Smartband and one for Lifelong!

I have used an app called Notifications Off in the past, and it had worked quite well. You do need root though. I don't think there is any other way to hide it, as the notification is a requirement for apps that are running that are considered "foreground" apps (ie they should not be killed when device is low on memory)
