SMS Colours - Messaging app

I find the colours of incoming texts i.e. pale writing on blue background a really band choice & difficult to read, I can read my own texts fine but that's no use is it!!!

I'm aware of other messaging apps but they all seem gimmicky & I'm happy with the stock messaging app, is there a way to change the colour scheme? I suppose not so can someone recommend an app that's pretty much like what I've got except with better colours or changeable colours?

You can only use different themes,but that will not make any difference.Without rooting,you cannot change anything.

i think light flow app can do that
