PROBLEM WITH 4.3.3 UPDATE

I got a xperia M and after the update of 4.3.3 its acting weridly. while downloading over wifi, the wifi automatically closes if the screen is turned off. plus there's another issue with the proximity sensor now . I use a flip case, not to mention a new one, and as I turn it over after finishing my conversation over the phone, the scrren does not light up. I have to press the power button now which is quite boaring and disturing !

for your wi-fi check if stamania mode is on

setting>power managment

you mean if you cover proximty sensor and then remove cover screen wont light up?

Yes exactly. got the most recent firmware loaded in my phone (15.4.A.1.9) and still the problem continues. I've tried installing xperia care from andriod market and when i examined using that app, sensor worked just fine. But the same problem continues whenever I make a call. Help me out please.
