When I try to use pc companion and sync my outlook calendar to my phone, I get the message sync failed during the preparation. I then get a message from windows saying pc companion has stopped working.

Try using a cable to attach my phone to the computer, also checked passwords, settings and ensured sync is on and both using the same wifi connection.
