Had a problem with my Z2 since I got it few months ago. If I have not used phone for 15 mins or so and it has gone to sleep when someone phones me the phone won't wake up and therefore the caller is transferred to voicemail or if thats switched off they get a message saying the phone is unobtainable, the only way I know someone is calling is because I get a text to say a message has been left for me.

If I've used the phone recently, the call comes thru as normal. Becoming a real pain, really puting me off gettting a sony phone again in future.

I'm getting a good signal, so its not like its to do with that. . . . . .

I suspect the same as I've got unexplained missed calls. However I didn't have enough to reach this conclusion yet.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

That is odd, just to confirm the call goes straight to voicemail without ringing on the phone but this contact can get through to this phone normally? I am asking this as there is an option you can select when setting up a contact to send all calls from that number to voicemail.

Bit of a coincidence that both of you are on EE......are both Z2s running exactly the same Apps/Settings?

The chances of both Z2s having exactly the same fault seems a bit dodgy....by any chance are they unlocked & if so can you try a different Carriers Sim & see if the fault is still there??

I have this issue also but I'm on 02 network. I'm in a good reception area. I get sent messages from network of missed calls but no missed calls on the phone itself.
I'll try the software repair to see if it works for me.
