Phone DOA???

Here's what's happening:

My phone died. I turned it off normally, and when I tried to power it back on, it just sits there and does nothing. I've tried power+volume, the red hard reset button, both do nothing When I plug it into the computer Windows recognizes a device, but then returns an error, claiming it was unable to retrieve the device descriptor. The PC Companion software doesn't recognize the phone either. For a minute I thought it may be stuck in flashmode, but there's no LEDs lit up. What can I do??

Sorry to hear about your phone. I would suggest that you connect your phone to a charger for at least 2 hours. Then press and hold the volume up and power button until the phone vibrates and try to start it normally by press and hold the power button for a few seconds.
