Sony Backup & Restore

I've been using the above app to backup my apps, pictures, music etc to my external SD card but find for some unknown reason doesn't backup certain apps.
They show up in the backup but are only 0.1mb where as all other apps that restore properly are over 1mb. Some examples are Real Boxing, Tapatalk and BBC News.

Any ideas as to what the reason is as it's a great backup app otherwise

This is generally down to the application itself preventing this function. Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do to get around it, however as the applications are tied to your Gmail account you can simply redownloaded via the Playstore.
