Speaker problem. I need help.

I think something is wrong with my speaker . The volume is already max but the sound is not loud as supposed to be. I can't even hear the ringtone when someone is calling when my phone is in my pocket. Even when the xLOUD is activated im not satisfied with the sound because it is not enough to hear the sound . What is the probem ?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

It's hard to say from here if it's something wrong or not. Have you tried with different ringtones? You could also try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if there are any difference:

Otherwise, I suggest (if possible) that you compare your Xperia Ion with another Xperia Ion to see if they have the same volume.

I tried the safe mode thing but it's still the same. And I also tried playing different ringtones and musics .
What if I try to repair this using pc companion. Or SUS ? Is there a chance to be back in normal ? Because i'm sure that this is different than before.

You can always try a software repair to exclude software related problems. But if you still experience low sound, I can only suggest you to compare your unit with another Xperia Ion.

Or that you contact nearest service center so a technician can examine your unit. You can contact your local support team for further information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way:
