z1 compact touch screen problems

Hello, I've a big problem with my z1 compact.
Often the screen turn in black and the smartphone looks like dead....
In this case I've to push the red button in the SIM slot.....doing it the smartphone starts working.
Someone know what's happening here?
Solutions?

and did you try restarting your phone, or booting in safe mode?

Thanks for the replies.
the devices has the default settings....I didn't install any app.
when the screen get black and like frozen, the only way for make it works is to push the red button that is inside the sim slot.....on the contrary nothing happens.

Strange,could you run the device in safe mode for 1-2 days?
