xperia tablet z doesn't reproduce sounds

My xperia tablet Z doesn't reproduce any sound from any music app, just the notifications ones and i can't turn it off or restart ir cause the botton doesn't work correctly!!!! who should i call?? i went to the support center and they told me to calle directly to Mexico because they have to pick up my tablet, check it and fix it but how does this works?

Press and hold Power & volume up for 5 to 10 seconds > then let it charge for 1 hour (wall charger not dock) after 1 hour repair it with SUS
