Xperia Ray ST18i - query

Hi, I have a query for my Sony xperia RAy.
few days back i kept my mobile on a table which was a bit wet, ( i am hopeful no water damage) after around 30-35 mins or so, my xperia ray was blacked out, it was not responsive to touch, the screen was looking as "brightness level = 0~5"
Now i have started it somehow, and currently facing issues .. as follows.
1 battery issue, ( i guess), though the battery shows 80-85% it gets off suddenly showing 0 battery.

2 touch works for some time after boot up.

3 if the handset is not used / or used for 5-10 mins.. the touch gets inactive.

for above condition, i have to manually restart the phone.

the things that i did on it while i pretend it was dead, kept in rice for devapourisation.

changed the battery with new one, but same issues facing

re installed the ICS on it

formatted the SD card considering it might be affected by virus.

Can anyone advise on my issue / query ? i am considering to opt for another new phone ( not first, but eventually if my Ray does not shows up)
