Try while in a call to remove the headset and put it back in.Also,it is worth clearing data for sound enhancements.

unplugged headset

Apart from getting the " accessory microphone" error, my xperia p has an unusual problem. Sometimes Android fails to recognise the unplugged headset, as a result, when I cal someone after unplugging the headset, there is no sound from the earpiece. It drives me crazy as there is nothing to be done about this issue. The problem doesn't get rectified even after I restart the phone. After this, if I get sound from the earpiece, the handset fails to play to the headset when I plug it again..i know it's no use to ask, but can Sony release an update for all these issues we xperia p users are facing!
