Hello!

I´m afraid i have bad news for you!!

The same exactly thing happened to me, aldo, it was 4 or 5 months after buying it!

Tryed EVERYTHING i found on the web, forum included, tricks, tecnics, huntches, ideas, you name it... but nothing

He had "just" died on me!

Only way to solve it is sending it to warranty!!!

Sorry for the bad news man! I am also a sony lover, but day after day, keep getting more and more disapointed with the brand.

I upgrated mine to 4.3 and i was wrong on doing it!! With 4.1.2 i had the best phone in the world, but with 4.3... cant relye on

him! With battery on 90s%, on 70s%, on 20s%, doesn´t matter, he sudently starts rebooting him self several times untill he

eventually stops, but stays on standby(waiting for pin) and with a battery loss of about 50% of what he had before!!

Now, i am almost hopping for him to die for real, becouse i dont have courage to "smash" 465 euros!!

But i can tell you one thing, until now, just in my house there are 3 xperias, a T, a SP and a J!! They ALL have big issues

and they are not being solved, not even trying... my next phone, or anyone´s phone in family or friend who asks about, wont

be a Xperia, i think i can promise you that! Best regards

Xperia T dead

So, the thing goes like this. I bought my Xperia T overseas (im from Uruguay, which by the way has not an official Sony store ¬¬) and it arrived two days ago. Today it died. It didn't even last TWO DAYS.

Also, while my T's problem is quite similar to everyone else's, it's not the same.

First. it died all of the sudden, i was using it normally (battery 60%), pressed power to lock screen. Five minutes later, press to turn on screen and nothing. It never even reached nothing close to low battery.

While charging, it shows constant red led.

While NOT charging, pressing Vol Up + Power doesn't do anything. Not vibrations, not flashing red light, just nothing. (Did it for about 5 MINUTES).

Vol Down force shutdown neither did a thing.

Left it with rubber bands on Vol Up + Power, charging, came back two hours later and nothing. Still dead.

Now going to left it with the rubber bands overnight to see if something, ANYTHING happens. Really, im a Sony fanboy and went through lots of problems in order to get this Xperia as it was far better than anything else available locally for the same money and i don't want to stop being a Sony fan.

EDIT: If it matters anyway, the Android version is 4.1.2

Update: It didn't work. It still doesn't start. Also, i went the hardware way, prying it open, detaching the battery connector, waiting 30 seconds before reattaching and still the same. Red light on charge but nothing else.

Thank you, but none of that works. I've already left it to charge all night to no avail and PC companion doesn't detect it when connected.

Yeah man, but

A) Mine has 4.1.2 and still died anyways.

B) Yours at least reboots giving a proof of life.

C) I don't have a warranty as i ordered it overseas.

D) I bought it already knowing that most Xperias do have annoying issues. Just not THIS annoying.

Did you buy it from a company "overseas"? They still should probably give you warranty. My advice, contact the seller.
